Before you start:
Make sure you are using the right cable: The white 4-pin-TRRS cable which comes with your Tentacle Sync set in a plastic bag with an iPhone Setup Cable sticker on it. The black iPhone Sync Cable from our shop or the provided black Mini Jack cable won’t work. Also check in your phone settings if the Tentacle App has access to your phone microphone.
Then connect your Tentacle to your iPhone:
Switch your Tentacle on, and make sure the volume is set to a high enough level. If it’s OK, the red volume bar will tell you so: Headphone volume OK.
If it is not working, your headphone volume might be adjusted. To check, go to Settings > Music > Playback > Volume Limit
Still not working? Clean the headphone jack of the phone. Sometimes dirt causes connection problems. Try to restart your phone. Sometimes that helps. We heard from several people that connection problems recurred with their iPhone 6 or 6s. There is a 9 Euro adapter cable from Apple, which is the best solution for that problem:
