You are using the Tentacle Sync Studio software and want to use the Multicam Mode - but all clips show up in only one video track? Usually the software will create a Multicam sequence with just one click. It separates the different cameras based on metadata like model name and serial number. But if that information is not available, all footage will be compiled in just one video track.
If that happens, you have to manually assign the footage of each camera to a different group, which is easy and only takes a few clicks:
- Upload the footage of the first camera into the file browser,
- Mark all and assign them with Set Sync Group from the context menu ( right-click the mouse on the marked files ) to Group 1.
- Now you have created a new Sync Group, which shows as one video track V1 in the track view.
Now import all clips from the second camera, mark those clips as well andassign them to group 2. Then do the same with all the other additional cameras. Now your Multicam View is ready.
