We are offering a free version of our software, if you have a Tentacle Sync box or want to try it out for 14 days. One is for macOS and one for Windows, there are not the same though.
Sync Studio:
The Tentacle Sync Studio is a software only for Mac (min OS X 10.9). It synchronizes your video and audio footage in seconds and generates a Sync Map with all your synchronized files. After the synchronization, there is a XML export for Apple Final Cut 7 / X or Adobe Premiere Pro CC possible, an AAF export for Avid Media Composer and a Media export, which passes through the synced footage.
Timecode Tool:
The Tentacle Timecode Tool is especially for Windows users (min Windows 7). This software transforms recorded Audio TC into File TC, so Windows based softwares like Adobe Premiere can read the File TC and synchronize your footage. So the Timecode Tool does not Sync and therefore does not generate a Sync Map.
