Your Canon C70 is well equipped for timecode synchronization, because it has a dedicated BNC Timecode input at the front of the camera. This way you are recording file timecode instead of audio timecode like most other DSLR cameras.
- Connect your synchronized Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL with a suitable adapter cable to the BNC Timecode input of the camera
- Set both Tentacle device and Camera to the same frame rate
- Make sure to set the TC port of the C70 to IN: Menu > System Setup > TC In/Out > In
- Set your Camera to: Menu > System Setup > Time Code Mode > Preset and Menu > System Setup > Time Code Run > Free Run
