You can use these types of microphones with the TRACK E (an adapter to the Sennheiser pinout might be necessary):
- Any lavalier microphone (electret condenser) that works with 5V plug-in power
- Dynamic microphones (deactivate plug-in power in the setup app for that)
- Condenser microphones (battery power supply or external phantom power supply needed)
We have tested these microphones with the TRACK E:
- Rode Lavalier GO
- Rode SmartLav+ (with 3 pin adapter)
- Sanken COS11D (with TRS plug)
- Sennheiser MKE2
- Sennheiser ME2
- DPA 4060 Core Lavalier Microphones (with MicroDot adapter)
- DPA 4097 Core Shotgun Gooseneck Mic (with MicroDot adapter)
The TRACK E microphone input is a widely used 3.5 mm connector with screw lock. The connector has the classic Sennheiser pinout. You can see the wiring diagram of our Tentacle microphone below.
